What is a Charter School?
Dolores Huerta Preparatory High is tuition free public charter school. Charter schools are authorized under Colorado State Law and are financed the same way as other public schools. Governed locally by citizens, parents and educators, charter schools are free to be innovative in their design and operation. Dolores Huerta Preparatory High, like all charter schools, is held to the highest national and state standards of education and is highly accountable to the state and community.
