Hi - and Welcome to CCA's Gifted and Talented pages!
There are several opportunities here at CCA for student's who are showing advanced abilities. When you see your child advancing quickly, and are suspecting they need more challenges, the very first thing to do is talk to their teacher! Challenged can be provided in the classroom for higher level, critical thinking tasks. One of the things we will be asking parents to do is collecting information for a portfolio of all the wonderful work their student(s) has accomplished.
As you are gathering items for the portfolio, your teacher will be documenting and beginning the Response to Intervention process.
